Plodda Falls | Hidden Waterfall in Scotland

The Plodda Falls is a beautiful and natural waterfall situated in a picturesque forested area, surrounded by lush green vegetation, rugged cliffs and towering trees. The water cascading down the falls is crystal clear and creates a soothing sound as it flows into the pool below!

For any nature enthusiasts and waterfall lovers out there; Plodda Falls is a must-see destination especially for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The walk around Plodda Falls is lovely and the path is well maintained so it is perfect for those with walking difficulties.

The view of Plodda Falls from the viewing platform is very dramatic, but in order to get to the bottom you have to follow the path down from the side of the falls Once you're at the bottom, the view is fantastic!

Plodda Falls is a beautiful place to visit. 10-15 mins walk to the waterfalls from the car park. Amazing place with a various viewpoints. Stunning view however if you are afraid of heights it can be a challenge for you.– Google Review

Just a heads up, in order to get to the falls you'll have to pass through a rough single track road, which is filled with deep potholes! However once you get past that and walk about 15 minutes from the car park it is definitely worth that journey.

Things to know before visiting Plodda Falls

  • Not many people know this, but you can actually swim in Plodda Falls!

  • Plodda Falls is around 151 ft tall.

  • Unfortunately Plodda Falls isn't dog friendly.
