Some say that good things only happen when the stars align. While we can’t promise that, the planets are putting on a show - and it’s pretty exciting!
For a few nights around 28th February 2025, every planet in our solar system will be visible at the same time.
You’ll be able to see seven of them in the sky, and the eighth? Well, that’s Earth, right beneath your feet.
Apologies to Pluto, but since it was downgraded from planet status in 2006, we won’t be counting it in this rare lineup.

This event marks the peak of a stunning planetary display that’s been building throughout January and February. The next chance to see all the planets align like this won’t come until 2040.
Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars can be seen without any special equipment, while Uranus and Neptune will require a telescope.
The best time to look up will be just after sunset on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week, starting on 25th February.
But don’t wait too long—Saturn and Mercury will quickly disappear below the horizon, so it’s best to be ready just as the sun sets.

Venus, Mars, and Jupiter will be visible for a little longer. And if the sky is especially clear, you might even spot Uranus as a faint dot with the naked eye.
To make the most of this incredible sight, step outside for at least 30 minutes to let your eyes adjust.
Try to get as far away from streetlights and artificial light as possible for the best view.
Remember - LeaveNoTrace!
As with anywhere outdoors, kindly keep these areas pristine and wild by taking all trash with you. The amount of complaints we have seen since the pandemic is crazy. It's really not that hard to take your rubbish with you!
Litter tends to spread, so if you see any and are able to pick it up and dispose of it outside the hidden gem, it will help keep the area tidy.
