‘Hidden’ waterfall so beautiful it makes visitors forget they’re even in Britain

A “hidden” waterfall in the UK has been described as an “underrated gem” by visitors.

Found in Llanberis, Wales, the peaceful spot is praised for its calm atmosphere and is often called the “perfect place to relax.”

This hidden waterfall inside Snowdonia National Park, has been named a “hidden gem” thanks to its “beautiful views” and the fact the walk there is “short and easy.”

While locals know it well, for those travelling from outside the area, it feels like a quiet escape.

The TikTok page @adventureamore1 shared a video showing off the falls. The caption read: “North Wales’ best hidden waterfall? Ceunant Mawr Falls is one of Snowdonia’s most underrated gems,” reports the Express.

They added: “Just a short walk from the village of Llanberis, this dramatic waterfall plunges through a moss-covered gorge surrounded by ancient woodland. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop and feel completely connected with nature.”

“Even though it’s close to a busy hiking spot, many people miss it, which makes it feel like your own private wilderness.

In the video, the TikToker said: “Did you know about this epic waterfall in Wales that looks like it could be in Bali? I honestly can’t believe I’d never heard of it before.”

“This is Ceunant Mawr Falls and it’s probably one of the best short walk waterfalls I’ve ever visited. It doesn’t just look like something from The Jungle Book, it feels like it too.”

“It only takes a few minutes to reach from the car park and hardly anyone knows about it. We were one of the only people here for hours. Visit on a warm day and you might just forget you’re even in the UK.”
