The beach so stunning with white sand and waterfalls it could easily be mistaken for Hawaii

One of the UK’s beaches has been likened to Hawaii thanks to its breathtaking waterfalls and white sandy shores.

This dreamy hidden gem, found along the Devon coastline, offers incredible scenery and a peaceful escape surrounded by nature.

The beach is reached by following a woodland path that winds down through the trees before opening up onto the soft white sand and rocky shoreline.

Towering green cliffs surround the bay, and on sunny days, the water sparkles with a beautiful turquoise hue.

Travel creator @CJExplores shared a video of the beach on Instagram, writing: “Isn’t it magical!? Located in North Devon, along the Exmoor National Park coastline. There’s a small car park near a path that leads to the beach.

“The path zig-zags down through woodland and is quite steep! (Around 20 minutes down and 30 minutes back up). Please remember to take your litter home.”

The post received thousands of likes and plenty of amazed comments. One person said: “Wow! Looks like Hawaii.”

Another added: “Can’t believe this is in England!” while a third wrote: “I never expected somewhere this beautiful in the UK.”

Woody Bay also has glowing reviews on TripAdvisor. One visitor shared: “A beautiful little bay surrounded by ancient twisted oak trees. The walk from the top car park is tough but so worth it. Peaceful, serene, and absolutely stunning.”

Another reviewer said: “An amazing place to visit. It’s a long walk down and a steep climb back up, but totally worth it. Pack a picnic and relax on the beach, and don’t miss the waterfall, it’s breathtaking.”

They added: “Do your research before visiting, and once you’re there, look out for the historical spots mentioned online. A fabulous hidden gem.”
