Scale Force | Hidden Waterfall in Lake District, England

Scale Force is a breath-taking place to visit in the Lake District; with it being the highest single drop waterfall of 20ft hidden away in a deep gorge! You will be greeted by flooded paths and muddy terrain but it is definitely worth the walk too!

Scale Force is a tremendous place to visit in the Lake District, and it's one of our favourite waterfalls in the Lakes. It's joint highest single drop waterfall with two others hidden within a deep gorge, and if you're lucky you might be able to have a wild dip!

If you're brave enough, it's definitely worth climbing up the waterfall to the second level for some truly breath-taking views. It can be a bit difficult though especially when it's raining.
