As autumn arrives, it is the perfect moment to visit one of Britain’s loveliest seaside spots without the busy summer crowds.
This coastal gem is known for its charm, its strong artistic history, and its breathtaking natural scenery.
Set on a peninsula with several beautiful beaches, each one offers sweeping views of the dramatic coastline and sea.

Famous for its special quality of light, which draws artists and photographers hoping to capture it, St Ives has also stayed much the same for more than a century.
A trip here feels like stepping back in time, yet the town still has everything you would want from a modern seaside break.
Cornwall has long been a favourite for many people thanks to its views, golden beaches, hidden coves and wild cliffs.
The lovely Cornish town of St Ives is no different. Sitting north of Penzance on the Celtic Sea, it is full of unspoilt landscapes as well as plenty of things to see and do.
It offers a mix of activities, from surfing to coastal walking, along with one of the most charming high streets in the country. St Ives, known for its beautiful beaches and classic Cornish look, is a wonderful place for a spring wander, reports the Mirror.
The Telegraph recently praised this seaside treasure, saying its high street is one of the finest in Britain, thanks to its cobbled lanes, independent shops and pretty whitewashed buildings.
The publication said: “Fore Street in St Ives, with its slate covered shops and independent galleries, has changed very little in the last hundred years and gives a perfect blend of local character and artistic style.”
A trip in early spring is especially recommended because there are fewer visitors and great conditions for watching storms roll in from the clifftops, where you can see the waves crashing against the rocks below.
There is plenty to enjoy in St Ives, with many pubs and restaurants to try, along with a lively arts scene filled with studios and galleries.
Remember - LeaveNoTrace!
As with anywhere outdoors, kindly keep these areas pristine and wild by taking all trash with you. The amount of complaints we have seen since the pandemic is crazy. It's really not that hard to take your rubbish with you!
Litter tends to spread, so if you see any and are able to pick it up and dispose of it outside the hidden gem, it will help keep the area tidy.
