The secret UK beach with its own waterfall that you can only reach on foot

There is a beautiful hidden beach in the UK that anyone looking for peace and quiet should explore.

This stunning spot offers sweeping views, from dramatic cliffs to a striking waterfall, without the busy crowds found at more famous seaside locations.

This hidden gem is a charming beach along the rugged North Devon coast, tucked between Combe Martin and Lynton.

As the name suggests, the inlet sits where the River Heddon flows into the sea, and the shore is covered with smooth, rounded pebbles.

The beach itself is only around 300 metres wide, and its tucked-away setting makes it a calm and relaxing escape for visitors.

One person who visited described it on Google Reviews as a “lovely place.”

Another said: “A beautiful hour-long hike to a hidden beach with amazing views – definitely worth it! There’s a handy car park at the start,” reports the Express.

A third visitor commented on the route to the coast, writing: “This was a really lovely walk down to the beach.”

Another added: “Wonderful short walk to the sea with spectacular cliffs and rocky shoreline. The path is well kept, though the stones can be uneven in places.”
