Underrated waterfall that looks ‘just like Bali’ hailed as the perfect place to relax

A “hidden” waterfall in the UK has been praised as an “underrated gem” by visitors.

Found in Llanberis, Wales, the peaceful spot is loved for its calm setting and has been described as the “perfect place to relax.”

The waterfall, located in Snowdonia National Park, is often called a “hidden gem” thanks to its “beautiful views” and the “easy, short walk” needed to reach it.

While locals know it well, it remains a quiet escape for those travelling from further away.

TripAdvisor users have also shared glowing reviews, with Ceunant Mawr Falls holding a 4.5-star rating.

One reviewer wrote: “Lovely little hidden gem in Llanberis. Having lived here all my life I’d never actually been to the waterfall. The train runs overhead as you walk along. It’s an easy walk, even our 2 and 4 year olds managed it. Stunning views.”

Another visitor said: “We were lucky enough to go when it was quiet – the calm atmosphere made it even more special.

This beautiful waterfall is hidden just a short walk from Llanberis. It’s a perfect place to relax, connect with nature and take some amazing photos. A must-see if you’re in Snowdonia!”

A third review added: “Surprisingly beautiful. The waterfall is only a short, easy walk from the centre of Llanberis village. Within minutes you’re in a lovely gorge. The waterfall is stunning and such a wonderful surprise.”

The postcode for finding the waterfall is LL55 4TR. Visitors are advised to park nearby and follow the signs on foot. There is no parking at the waterfall itself or along the access road.
