The UK is packed with incredible natural landmarks, from dramatic cliffs to peaceful woodland waterfalls.
Holiday experts at Sally Cottages studied TikTok data to reveal the top 10 hidden waterfall walks across the UK.
This hidden gem on the beautiful Isle of Skye came in second place thanks to its powerful flow after heavy rainfall.
This hidden gem is surprisingly easy to reach on the quiet island, as it runs along the burn that supplies water to Talisker Distillery, even ranking higher than the famous Fairy Pools at Glen Brittle.
The waterfall is surrounded by green hills and open countryside, with a bright blue pool sitting at the base of the rushing water.
Crawton Waterfall, located near the former fishing village of Crawton in Aberdeenshire, was placed eighth on the UK list. It is known for plunging over a steep rocky cliff straight into the sea.
The number one waterfall on the list can be found in Wales, on the northern edge of Snowdonia National Park within Gwydir Forest.
Rhaeadr y Parc Mawr features two streams of water that flow down into a shallow pool below.
The rankings were released shortly after the Devil’s Pulpit made headlines due to glowing reviews about its mysterious setting.
Despite the name, the Devil’s Pulpit is not actually a waterfall but a mushroom shaped grassy rock rising from the river beneath a small cascade.
It is located near Loch Lomond and is officially known as Finnich Glen, although many people now refer to it as the Devil’s Pulpit.
Remember - LeaveNoTrace!
As with anywhere outdoors, kindly keep these areas pristine and wild by taking all trash with you. The amount of complaints we have seen since the pandemic is crazy. It's really not that hard to take your rubbish with you!
Litter tends to spread, so if you see any and are able to pick it up and dispose of it outside the hidden gem, it will help keep the area tidy.
