UK attraction named the best for Christmas joy, beating both Times Square and Disney

There are many places around the world that feel magical at Christmas, from a snowy Central Park in New York to the festive sparkle of Walt Disney World in Florida.
A new study has ranked top attractions across the globe to find out which ones spread the most Christmas joy.
Taking the number one spot worldwide is a UK destination, which may surprise some people. This place has been named the best in the world, earning a Christmas joy score of 9.75 out of 10.
The Warner Bros Studio Tour London gives visitors a behind the scenes look at the Harry Potter films. Fans can explore the real sets, props and costumes used throughout the series.
During winter, the sets are transformed with a festive makeover for the special Hogwarts in the Snow experience.
Also scoring highly on the list created by travel experts at AttractionTickets.com is Central Park in New York City.
New York appears five times in the top 15, including Bryant Park, The Met, Top of the Rock, Times Square and Central Park, making it the Christmas joy capital of the world.
Grand Place in Brussels, Belgium, comes next, followed by Bryant Park and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Another UK entry on the list is Center Parcs, Longleat Forest.
Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark, earned a Christmas joy score of 9.4, with Center Parcs Sherwood Forest close behind at 9.3.
Next on the list are Disneyland Paris, Center Parcs Elveden Forest and The Met, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Oliver Brendon, travel expert and CEO at AttractionTickets.com, said: “Whether you’re booking a last minute holiday for 2025, or planning your Christmas break for 2026 already, this data is a great guide to where you are most likely to feel the festive spirit.
“It’s no surprise that New York locations like Central Park and Times Square performed well because of their global appeal, but it’s great to see how more family focused destinations, like Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Paris, are just as strong when it comes to Christmas joy.
“From the data, it’s clear that the places that make people feel most festive are those that are internationally popular, have Christmas themed events and offer warm, family friendly experiences.”
