Hidden gem UK village with a pub by the beach feels like stepping into another world

The summer holidays may be almost over but the sunshine is still sticking around. With an Indian summer expected in many places, lots of people will be thinking about a last seaside break, and one coastal village in the UK has been called one of the best places anywhere to enjoy a sunny day.
Wales is always popular with holidaymakers heading for the coast, especially the well known spots in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.
But if you travel a little further north you will find that this place is just as stunning, and some would even say it is even more impressive.
Writing for Wales Online, reporter Robert Harries said: "It has a little bit of everything, small towns and villages, amazing scenery, and places that almost make you rethink what the word beauty means."
One of the highlights of the county is the small village of Llangrannog, which still feels like a bit of a secret compared with bigger seaside favourites like Tenby, Saundersfoot, Newport and New Quay, he wrote.
Robert described the village as one of the best places anywhere to spend a sunny day. When he visited on a bright and busy weekday in August, he spoke to visitors and locals who all shared the same praise.
Down on the beach, a family from Yorkshire and Lincolnshire were enjoying their yearly trip together. Among them was Dai Rich, who spent part of his childhood nearby and spoke about the strong community feeling he still noticed.
He said: "It is a beautiful place to visit, it feels safe, the beach is fantastic and the countryside around it is amazing. It just makes you want to return again and again."
This year’s lovely weather has helped business for Mickey Beechey, who runs the kayak and paddleboard hire shop Caiacs Carreg Bica.
He added that its beauty makes it a great place to visit at any time of year, whatever the weather.
